Sandro Mareco (born 13 May 1987 in Haedo, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine chess grandmaster.

Mareco won the South American Under-20 Championship in 2007. He was awarded the title of grandmaster by FIDE in 2010.

He competed in the Chess World Cup 2011, where he was knocked out in the first round by Ferenc Berkes.

In 2012 Mareco finished equal first, second on countback in the Argentine Chess Championship.

He played for Argentina's national team in two Chess Olympiads, in 2012 and 2014.

He took part in the Chess World Cup 2013 and was eliminated by David Navara in the first round.

In May 2015, Mareco won the 10th American Continental Championship in Montevideo. Later that year, in September, he competed in the Chess World Cup 2015, where he knocked out Ni Hua in the first round, then he was eliminated in round two by former compatriot Anton Kovalyov. In the following month, Mareco won the Argentine championship of 2015.
