Anita Gara (born 4 March 1983 in Budapest) is a Hungarian chess player who holds the FIDE titles of International Master (IM) and Woman Grandmaster (WGM). She is four-time Hungarian women's champion (2000, 2001, 2009, 2013).
Gara played for the Hungarian team in the Women's Chess Olympiads of 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2012 and 2014.
Her sister is WGM Ticia Gara.
