Laugh and Lie Down

A rather unusual fishing game for five players, played in England in the 16th and 17th centuries.

A reconstruction can be found on David Parlett's Laugh and Lie Down page. This also includes Willughby's version for four players, and David Parlett's suggested adaptations for three or six.

Another reconstruction is available on the Laugh and Lie Down page of the Period Games.
